Scheduling: Automatically schedules available and qualified employees to shift assignments and positions based on rules.
 
Communication and notification: Sends voice, text or e-mail communications to employees to  fill shifts or conduct recall without human intervention according to pre-configured staffing rules.  Employees are prompted to respond accordingly so that shifts are filled faster - updating the Roster in real time. 
 
Overtime: Automatically allocates overtime opportunities within a controlled and automated environment ensuring fair and impartial scheduling.
 
Integration:  Acts as central hub for scheduling data and imports/exports appropriate data to CAD, HR, Payroll, RMS and Time and Labor systems.
 
Compliance:  Consistently applies department policies, collective bargaining rules, labor laws and other regulatory constraints when making staffing decisions, and processing time-off requests.
 
Time tracking, leave and accruals: Uses virtually any unlimited number of working and non-working codes to track time and leave helping to manage time more efficiently and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, labor laws and other regulatory constraints.
  
Emergency staffing: Allows command level staff to plan, deploy and keep workforce informed during times of crises.  For FEMA-declared emergencies, staffing data can be exported to reimbursement forms for faster completion. 
 
Bidding: Automates day off and shift assignment bids with Auctions, an optional feature, and records final results in TeleStaff. 
 
Reporting: Provides several standard reports analyzing a variety of dynamic work information such as costs associated with overtime costs, payroll, exceptions, daily staffing status and many more.  Also offers an optional Custom Reporting feature expand reporting beyond standard reports.
 
Special events / extra-duty staffing: Allows command level staff to setup events on the fly while employees sign up and access event details through self-service features
 
Self-service access: Employees can request time-off, check their schedules, pay reports and accruals, sign up for work or respond to overtime opportunities through the Internet, intranet PC and touch tone phone.  
 
Enterprise solution: Delivers a solution for the entire organization offering a complete view of each area's scheduling landscape.
